It is the policy of the Williams Pioneer Review to encourage reader participation on its editorial page. Diverse and varied opinions are welcomed. Because of space limitations, we reserve the right to edit, or omit submitted letters. Letters of 200 words or less will be published unless they contain language or content that the editors feel is inappropriate.
Examples of content that will cause letters to be rejected include the following:
The Williams Pioneer Review will not knowingly publish factually incorrect information.
Only letters written exclusively to the newspaper will be published. Letters to a third party or those written to more than one newspaper are not accepted.
Letters written in response to other letter writers should address the issue at hand and, rather than mentioning the writer by name, should refer to the headline and date the letter was published. Discourse should be civil and people should be referred to in a respectful manner. Letters referring to news stories should also mention the headline and date of publication.
All letters must be signed and include the writer’s street address or route address telephone number, which will be used for verification purposes only. The Name of the Writer and City will be published with the letter. On Rare circumstances the initials of the writer will be published with the name of the city in which the writer resides. Anonymous letters will not be accepted.

The Williams Pioneer Review reserves the right to edit, or omit submitted articles. Articles of 750 words or less will be published unless they contain language or content that the editors feel is inappropriate. Below is a guideline of submitted articles:

Due to our limited staff, we often accept notices with open arms, however, the Williams Pioneer Review reserves the right to edit, or omit submitted articles. Community Briefs of 100 words or less will be published unless they contain language or content that the editors feel is inappropriate.Below is a guideline of submitted articles:

The Williams Pioneer Review has the photos that are printed and published in our news publication available for a fee. Photo requests must be submitted to the publisher of the publication with the intent of the photo, size, and mailing information. The publisher will then determine if the reprint will be granted or denied. Photo requests that have been granted will only be available for private use, and can not be duplicated, used in any promotions, or distributed without prior notification and permission to the publisher. Purchasing a reprint does not give you rights to the full use of the photo. Failure to follow these rules will result in prosecution.
Photo Requests are generally granted when the photo is taken by one of our staff members. The Photo will have a by-line of (Staff Photo). If the photo has a photographers name listed after the by line, then permission must be aquired from the photographer and royalty fees will be charge.
Photo requests can take 10 to 30 days to process. Payment must be received in full prior to mailing the copies of the photo.
